Research Grants for the “Sobrarbe-Pirineos UNESCO Geopark” for 2016

The Region of Sobrarbe has granted an aid for the accomplishment of research works in thefield of geology, referred to the Region of Sobrarbe.

The beneficiary project is as follows: “Reconstruction of historical mining in the Region ofSobrarbe and its environmental impact during the Anthropocene“, by Juan Pablo CorellaAznar. Aid granted: € 4,800.00.

They have been especially valued:

• The contents of the projects presented
• The methodology and projection of the future
• The innovative nature of the projects presented

The deadline for completion of the work will be a maximum of one year from the date ofgranting the aid.

Sobrarbe-Pirineos Geopark wants to thank the interest shown in this edition of the call foraid. It has had 8 applications, all of them very interesting and of great quality. We lookforward to continuing to support these initiatives and, if possible, reaching many moreprojects.
