Resolution of aids to research 2015 – Sobrarbe Geopark

The Sobrarbe County has awarded two grants for conducting research inthe field of geology, referring to Sobrarbe. The two projects beneficiaries are:

1. “Characterization of climate events and its sedimentary expresión inlower Ypresian South Pyrenean Basin”. Tania López Mochales. Aid:€3,920.16.
2. “Presence, distribution and dynamic of mountain permafrost in theenvironment of Monte Perdido Glacier and Tucarroya Circus”.Enrique Serrano. Aid: € 3,968.20.

They have particularly appreciated:

• The contents of the projects presented.
• The methodology and future projection.
• The innovative nature of the projects presented.

The deadline for completion of the works will be a maximum of one yearfrom the date of granting of the aid. The Sobrarbe Geopark wants to thankthe interest shown in this issue of call for aid, counting with 8 applications,all very interesting and of high quality.
