In memory of RNDr. Tomáš Řídkošil‏

Dear Colleagues,

With great sorrow we learned just yesterday the unbelievable news of the loss of our colleague and friend

RNDr. Tomáš Řídkošil,

Director of Bohemian Paradise Geopark

All the Geopark colleagues in Europe and the world are shocked with the awful and unexpected news for the loss of our precious colleague!

He was the main pillar of the  Bohemian Paradise Geopark and he represented the Bohemian Paradise Geopark in the European and Global Geoparks Network from the very first moment.

He had passion with the geological heritage of the Bohemian Paradise and he was enthousist with the Geoparks

We had the opportunity to share with him many wonderful and exciting moments of the Geopark building in Europe and the world!

He was always friendly and smiling, he had good will for all, he was ready to support all colleagues and especially new geoparks  who asked for his knowledge on Geological conservation. He crossed Europe with his car to reach the Geopark Meetings and Conferences and he was always happy to share his experience with others.

We will all remember him as a member of our European Geoparks family, as a good friend and colleague!

On behalf of the European Geoparks Network and the Global Geoparks Network we would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, to the Bohemian Paradise Geopark team, to all his friends and colleagues!
