Geological digital photography course in Sobrarbe Geopark

Sobrarbe Geopark offers to participate in a new training activity: a theoreticalpractical workshop Geological Digital Photography. Continuing the training series begun the previous year relating geology with art, which was opened with watercolor painting, in this issue we propose the photograph.

Given the exceptional site covering Sobrarbe Geopark, the course objective is to capture the vision of nature from a geological perspective.

It will take place in the Hall of GeoVision. Castle Aνnsa, Huesca, Spain (theoretical sessions).

Dates: From 14th to 16th November 2014

Deadline: until November 12th 2014

Thematic course:

• Search and captures of geological images, nature photography and landscape in general. Macro, panoramic, classic landscape photography, geological photography, etc…
• The maximum detail in Photography: search for reality through a lens and the possibilities it allows.
• Color: the endless search. The immense possibilities in games of color and contrast.

We’ll get to capture geology in a photograph while acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to begin a new way of capturing the scenery around us.

It is open to everyone with some knowledge in this field, interested in photography, mountain guides, tourist offices staff, Associates of the Geopark, amateur geologists, Friends Geopark …
